Hey Rick and airsoft players as watching for safty tips from Dr. Airsoft this is what i found. this video contains the half face google compared to paintball masks. the paintball masks did not stand up to the lower mask.So for every minor (any one under the age of 18) has to wear the mask. What happens if the minor or adult renting etc.. got shot point blank with the 400 fps gun. They would end up with a tooth missing or possibly an eye. I think this deserves attention ASAP because of the safty hazord. Thanks guy Happy airsofting.

Personally, I think the full face metal mesh masks protect you a lot better. But consequently, a cheap paintball mask from sports authority is a lot easier to buy then the $25 dollar mesh face mask.

Here's the part that didn't make sense to me.

He was shooting the mask point blank in the face. He didn't shoot the one with goggles in that way, to show the damage THAT would've caused. Therefore this is not a comparitive test. we all know the results of this.

It's against any field rules for anyone to shoot anyone point blank in the face, so this would almost never happen.

I've never had a bb go through my JT flex 8, but I did have a bb go inside the goggles on an Empire E-Vents mask, and actually roll around inside the mask. This has only happened one time in 5 years, and it wasn't going fast enough to hurt me, once the bb had squished past the foam (something that could happen to ANY mask, or any pair of goggles)

This test didn't demonstrate the damage that can be done when you get shot point blank in the top of the head. This is an area the mask or the goggles doesn't cover. This is also something unlikely to happen. It also doesn't demonstrate what happens when you get shot point blank in the balls, which Rickytic can demonstrate with his bloody boxers from that fateful day.

It also didn't demonstrate the damage that can be done from blindfire, where a mask won't protect you from stupidity.

It didn't show that at point blank, a half inch lower than your mask, it also will hurt if you get shot in the neck and throat.

Goggles don't protect your ears or forehead at all. He should've shot to dummy in the dome, a mask would have you covered here.

The ONE thing that makes his so called 'research', completely useless? Paintball masks are okay by the insurance companies, that have done a TON MORE research than him, and are the ones that pay the bills if this goes wrong.

If you like, I can do this review, comparing goggle to masks, and shoot the one with only goggles in the mouth, forehead, and ears, and you'll soon see which one's better for you.

All this review proves, is that an idiot that breaks field rules, and shoots you point blank in the face, MIGHT HURT YOU.....well.....DUH!!! Again, I wanna see him shoot the dummy point blank in the mouth with the goggles, to make a comparitive test.
