I'd like to have briefings for the next game done right after the previous game instead of 5 minutes before the next. This way, people can have a little more time to plan appropriately: load the shotgun instead of the AEG, make a change or two in the loadout, and maybe even come up with a little plan .

Let me know what you guys think.

Or we could just have more set up time before we all go in. Otherwise, my friends and I just make sure everything's loaded up by the end of one game before the briefing of the next.
There's one part that bothers me some though. It's a given that going into a game with a plan does often win you the objective, but it's getting a team of mix matched players with no prior experience with each other to execute anything you come up with. This fact was a key lesson during the boot camp last month. The ten or so teens there all managed to work together during the week, but when some of us came back two weeks later and we tried to help lead our team, things didn't go as expected. I first hand had come up with a plan for a game on firebase and no one listened (but then again, I am also a 17 year old girl).

I think everyone should just load up regardless of what the next game is. Then when the time comes to start your not rushing to load up 8 mags or what not. I admit i am one of them haha. I see people taking their gear off between games, thats fine but it can slow you down when the next game is about to start. There isnt enough hours in a day, the faster we can start a round the more we can play. I want to get my moneys worth when i go, not sit around or wait in formation for 20mins.

you should have whoever is the game cordinator stand at the front entrance to which ever field is being used and ensuring that everyone has gotten cronoed and has the proper tags. you should also issue a warning to players in the beginning and mid day briefs about intential shooting of camera men/women that if they are caught or called out by the camera crew individually they could be banned... NOTE "INTENTIONAL" shooting of camera crew.. mistakes a re bound to happena especially if they are trying to get a good shot in the middle of the field caught in the cross fire. but non the less. Those who get called out should be banned for life! it shows their blatant diregaurd for the rules and general courtesies of being a player at Jericho and being on any field for that matter. Thanks for your time.

In answer to Alan's suggestion, the idea is that people are supposed to be already loaded up before the brief. They're then supposed to head out to the start position, and start planning strategy, tactics, etc. we always ask if the teams are ready, and are told that they are.

In reality, what happens is that people come off the field, don't load up at all, get briefed, then take a long time to load up in a panic, and arrive at the start point too late to begin planning.

From our perspective, if we don't get games going fast enough, people complain about too much downtime.

If people would get organized, or sit a game out and get prepared for the next one, we'd have no issues. People aren't prepared in time, yet still expect to be involved in every game, and only have 10 minutes in between games.

What I've learned from running fields, is that you have to, have organization, and lead people. It's impossible to give every player the style and format of games that they want, every time. It's a lot easier if people simply get the format, and went along with it.

I personally load up like 20 magazines before the first brief, and only reload one or two between each game. I usually end up having to unload unused mags at the end of the a, and reloading only takes the time it takes, to empty my dump pouch, and throw loaded mags in my rig. Turn around time to hydrate and ralod my rig is like 2 minutes, plus I also need to plan the game itself, brief it, then take people to the start position, and plan a strategy.

What should players do? Be ready, get ready, gt not position and plan a strategy, then play the game. If you're not able to,get ready, why not sit it out until you are, the. Join the game later, or play the next game instead. Scenario play means planing and having strategy.

I'd personally love to only have three good games all day, and not have ten lame ones, but for that to happen, we'd need to get the people t stop complaining about downtime
