On the last weekend of EVERY month, we utilise our military vehicles in massive scale scenarios, involving hundreds of players.
Jericho currently has many different vehicles, and all of them are 100% functional. Not only do we have them, but we actually use them. That's right... we actually use them in games, we transport players into , and out of the games, and use the vehicles 100% during the game. You can get into and out of the vehicles, commandeer them to stop and be used by your forces. You'll be able to get into a real military Humvee, and actually shoot the airsoft M249 from the turret!! We can deploy you in our APC, run you into enemy territory and drop you off, or medivac you to safety. We play many vehicle scenarios.
The photo on the right, is of people returning to base after a pilot rescue. There was a US pilot down in enemy territory. A successful rescue team were deployed, but during the rescue of the pilot and crew, enemy hostiles fled into a nearby Savanna with 2 dangerous compounds, able to be mixed to create a deadly WOMD.
USFORS were sent on a second objective to retreive the compounds or kill all the enemies, yet were highly outnumbered, and returned to base safely with the pilot and crew, to regroup and insert more troups for a second mission.
The turret of the Humvee is armed with an airsoft M249. This vehicle was used as a MEDIVAC vehicle, running medics to heal downed players.
The APC was used as a MEDIVAC for the Pilot and crew, as the medics atteded to the pilot during the mission.
So what vehicles do we have?

'Humvee'
The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee) is a military 4WD motor vehicle created by AM General. It has largely supplanted the roles formerly served by smaller Jeeps such as theM151 1/4 ton MUTT, the M561 "Gama Goat", their M718A1 and M792 ambulance versions, the CUCV, and other light trucks. Primarily used by the United States Armed Forces, it is also used by numerous other countries and organizations and even in civilian adaptations. The Hummer series was also inspired by the HMMWVs.
M1009 CUCV
M1009 - Utility version of the General Motors Chevy K5 Blazer 2nd edition. The M1009 is a utility rig built from a Blazer and could be used for command and control, as well as simple hack-around duties. It was often seen with radio sets installed, however the large square tube stock mounts prevented the rear seat from being lowered. The M1009 was rated for a 1,200 pound payload and a 3,000 pound towed load. It used the heaviest duty GM springs available for the chassis and the rear axle was a 10-bolt unit. It rolled on 10.00-15 tires, had 3.08 gears and a rear Gov-Lok.
M35 'Deuce-and-a-half'
The M35 family of trucks is a long-lived vehicle initially deployed by the United States Army, and subsequently utilized by many nations around the world. A truck in the 2½ ton weight class, it was one of many vehicles in US military service to have been referred to as the "deuce and a half." While the basic M35 cargo truck is rated to carry 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) off road or 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg) on roads, they have been known to haul twice as much as rated. Trucks in this weight class are considered medium duty by the military and Department of Transportation. The M35 series formed the basis for a wide range of specialized vehicles.
M939 '5-ton'
The M939 series 5-ton 6x6 truck is a family of United States military logistical transportation trucks which was designed in the late 1980s and has been in service ever since. About 32,000 M939 series trucks are in service. The M939 series is an improved version of the older M809 Truck series of trucks.
'Ferret' Scout Tank
The Ferret armoured car, also commonly called the Ferret Scout car, is a British armoured fighting vehicle designed and built for reconnaissance purposes. The Ferret was produced between 1952 and 1971 by the UKcompany, Daimler. It was widely adopted by regiments in the British Army as well as Commonwealth countries throughout the period.
M1008 CUCV
M1008 - Basic General Motors Model K30903. The M1008 was the most numerous of the CUCV truck types. It was often seen with troop seats for eight in the bed. Some of the unique accoutrements to a CUCV are the military brush bars and tow hooks front and rear, as well as a pintle hitch. These trucks are rated to tow 3,000 pound cross country and were often used to tow the M101 3/4 ton trailer.
British FV432 APC
The FV432 is the armoured personnel carrier variant of the British Army's FV430 series of armoured fighting vehicles. Since its introduction in the 1960s it has been the most common variant, being used for transporting infantry on the battlefield. In the 1980s, almost 2,500 vehicles were in use, with around 1,500 now remaining in operation - mostly in supporting arms rather than front-line infantry service.
Although the FV432 Series was to have been phased out of service in favour of newer vehicles such as the Warrior and the CVR(T) series, they are now gradually being upgraded to extend their service through into the next decade.
Pierce Fire Engine
No, you're right... ...our Pierce Fire Engine isn't exactly a military vehicle. In fact, it was in use for civilian fire service. The military do still use Pierce fire Trucks, especially here in the US, on military bases, but that's no why we got it.
It's just awesome to own a fire truck, and go out across the park and hose people down with the siren blairing on a hot day.

Big Game AO

When we have big games, operations, and vehicle days, we combine all the fields from one side of the park, into one giant AO (Area of Operation). This makes for giant battles that are simply lot of fun to be involved in.
Firebase
Imagine being holed up in a valley, with only a couple of bunkers to defend. All you have is this abandoned Firebase as your foot-hold in the territory, and you're surrounded by hostile enemies. Firebase is exactly that.
Awesome sandbag bunkers dug into the valley, and a huge double bunker with a tunnel in between them. Firebase has a lot of natural bush cover, combined with man made structures.
Trenches
Trenches is one of the largest fields at the park, and really takes no explanation, as 'Trenches', is exactly what this field comprises of.
Whatever you choose to do, our network of trenches is definitely a workout, and never fails to amuse.
A huge network of trenches enable an interesting terrain to be involved in. Do you go over the top and take the next trench, or simply keep your head down and crawl?
Trenches still has a lot of ever evolving natural cover, so it allows for many different playing styles.
